Ah, you have fallen to this impulse to apply the term theology to everything, rather than reserving that term to God. It would make more sense to call this anthropology- God does not go on vacation.

    • According to Thomas Aquinas, this falls under “theology.”

This is why Prima secundae and Secunda secundae which deal with anthropology are found *within* the Summa THEOLOGIAE.

      Don’t knock the Dumb Ox.

Very timely sir! Me and the wife are off to Majorca on the 7th of June. I will listen to this on my last day at work.

    • Have a great trip and check out the Catechism quote that I mention in the podcast about how these times can be true sacrifices made to God.

  • Mansur

How about go to the beach and the modesty ? Could you talk about it ? Thanks

    Hi Dr. Marshall,
Along the lines of this same theme, I have a suggestion for perhaps a future podcast or tip-of-tthe-week: keeping the Sabbath. I work full-time, and I have struggled for years to keep the Sabbath properly. On weekends I have laundry, housework, errands etc and it’s difficult to get them all done in one day and not let my weekend chores spill into Sunday. I could use advice in this area. Love your podcasts. Keep up the good work and thanks for your ministry!
