Whow! You’ve got “IT” bad Doctor Marshall! This post reminds me of the late sixties and early seventies when I believed I was a great dancer and also thought that I could sing and play guitar. What I’m trying to say is that in conditions like this I would be first on the dance floor and then about a minute or so later, the dance floor would eventually get full. No! NO! I was not dancing alone! 🙂
Doctor! Don’t YA know that I’ve taken four so called nervous breakdown and just because my last one took place about twenty five years ago and the doctor who sent me for a visit for a week end at the funny farm and just because that person is now my doctor doesn’t make it ok, does it now?
Let’s get “IT” straight Doctor Marshall, you want US (usual sinners) to open up our window and talk to GOD. Maybe I should be thanking you for trying to make “IT” a little easier on me. Let me tell YA what happened this Tuesday after MASS and after having drank too much of GOD’s Blood. Anyway! My wife asked me to stop at a store so that she could buy a little grocery and while I waited in the car for her, I listened to our Canadian radio station. Long story short, I was quietly talking to GOD cause I’m in control and also looking at the sky at the same time. I then literally started using ‘F’riendly ‘U’sual ‘C’hristian ‘K’ind words that good Christians should not be using even while listening to propaganda that we Canadian citysins must pay for.
Anyway, as I was looking at the sky and still talking to the radio, a light appeared in the sky and in the middle of this light I saw a cross with a non identified man on it which made me even more angry at the radio. Longer story shorter, as I continued, a dark cloud started moving in and eventually managed to completely cover up the vision that I was looking at. Go figure?
My question is: Does that make me “ONE” of GOD’s “Saint” and/or just a possible human cell in the lottery to find that so called Anti-Christ that we are all looking for in this Twenty-First Century? (LOL)
Happy Easter to you, your charming Joy, your children, your friends and all of your blessed readers.

  • I greatly enjoyed this podcast. I have only heard a few of them so far, but in each there is always something practical and memorable. I often open the curtains and look out the window first thing when I get up in the morning and now I will couple this practice with praising God, thanking Him for past, present, and future blessings, and expressing my love for Him in words and in thought. Your idea of intimacy with God was well illustrated with examples from your life. Indeed, you often do this and it imparts life and clarity to what you are teaching.

Hi, this was my first podcast to listen to I guess a little over a month ago… I shared it on fb with a retreat group 🙂 I honestly just signed up for your email subscriptions because I wanted to know more about Thomas Aquinas, but I’m so glad I did. I am about to graduate high school, and it was a roller coaster of a year spiritually. I have struggled with spiritual dryness recently, but your podcast has definitely inspired me in many ways, and I have shared it on several occasions. I even reference part of this podcast in a talk I’m giving on a retreat this summer. So thank you so much for your time and vocation!
It’s funny because I had your blog up a while ago on my parent’s laptop, and my mom asked me how I had gotten to Taylor Marshall’s blog. She is very active in Boy Scouting, and she first heard about you when you started the St. George group. While my mom decide to keep my brother in BSA (we also live in the metroplex), she was very interested in hearing about your group.
Anyways, I hope you can read this because I am very thankful for your podcasts, but I do not have iTunes to leave a review. Your podcasts have influenced me greatly and give me hope and encouragement and humor for my week. God bless!
