Inner Circle Response: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
Wow, thank you to all who have contacted me about being a collaborator in the so-called “inner circle” to prep my new free ebook Thomas Aquinas in 50 Pages: A Quick Layman’s Guide to Thomism.
Including comments, emails, and Facebook messages, there are about 200 blog readers interested in becoming a collaborator in the “inner circle” for Thomas Aquinas in 50 Pages.
I’m currently reading through all the fantastic responses, and I am amazed by how educated, skilled, and diverse you are. PhDs in all sorts of subjects, talented homeschool moms, lawyers, business people, priests, hermits, people in their 80s, people in their 20s, and folks from Brazil, the Philippines, Europe, and India!
Y’all are a wonderfully diverse group – but you all love Our Lord Jesus Christ. That is the common thread. I’m so grateful for your interest and encouragement!
To be honest and transparent, I was hoping that there might be a few who would be willing to help out. I had no idea there would be such a large response. I’m just overwhelmed at the moment. I want you all to help but I don’t know what to do! I don’t think that I can keep up with 200 commentators. Perhaps I should have made this thing into a Wikipedia type document that could be “crowd-sourced.” That’s certainly an idea for next time.
Nevertheless, if you’re still interested in joining the “inner circle,” and haven’t yet contacted me, please do so. Read this first to see if you’d be interested. Next, leave me a message through email, comments, or Facebook (the instructions are here).
In the mean time, I’m trying to shave off 2 or 3 pages to keep the book authentic at exactly “50” pages.
After I’ve read all the responses, I’ll contact you directly and privately on Saturday the 4th to ask you to join the team and then I’ll send you the book so that you can read it and get back to me with ideas and mark ups. Then we’ll talk on the phone or Skype or whatever you prefer so that I can better understand how you think the book might be better.
