Should Catholic fiction have a place in our long list of books to read? Absolutely.
Other than the greats (like the Lord of the Rings trilogy) our spiritual lives can benefit tremendously from reading good Catholic fiction. This isn’t necessarily fiction written by Catholics (though that can be very beneficial), but these are books that openly talk about the Faith and have a clear “sacramental” message.
