How to Make Unbreakable Goals for the New Year

There’s an easy secret to making goals for the New Year. Did you know that 25% of people give up on their New Year’s Resolution within the first seven days of January? A majority will not see their resolutions past February 1!

God made humans to be goal-oriented. Our ultimate goal is Heaven, but there are sub-goals along the way. Today I’ll share how I attain goals using the “S.M.A.R.T.” (specific, measurable, actionable, realistic, time-bound) system of goal making. When I learned this system, it literally changed my life. I will also share how making these kind of goals for the New Year can lead to a breakthrough in any category with which you struggle: spiritual, marital, familial, economic, health, etc.

What! Not one person commented here yet? Listen Doctor Marshall, I have to at least have “ONE” dance here to end this Year in order to start a “SMART New Year”.

    And now I’m glad I didn’t know

The way it all would end

The way it all would go

Our lives are better left to chance

I could have missed the pain,

But I’d of had to miss the dance

Before I start, I suggest that you reproduce that Crucifix representing Advent which is seen behind you on your video and let me know when you’re selling cause I’ll buy “ONE”… Hey you even have a shadow of “IT” but we won’t talk about that today! WILL WE NOW?

Let me start by saying that while you were talking about your “SMART” Goals Steps… for a momment there, I thought that I was being lectured by one of my old boss in Real Estate and long story short… thanks to him and his office steps, I became one of the office top sales person… I won’t tell you why I left Real Estate cause a lot of your readers would think that “I” was crazy for doing so.

I hear YA! What do YA mean “THINK?” LOL 😉

HAPPY NEW YEAR and God Bless you and yours

Goals, acronyms, systems, plans, positive thoughts… I’m getting that feeling of creeping protestantism. I like the old method of slinking into a dark church on a rainy afternoon, throwing myself on my knees in a pew, and begging God to help me overcome my pitiful weaknesses and not be a disappointment to him, acknowledge I don’t know how or when I will ever met my goals, or if my goals are even His goals or His will, but fill me with enough grace to stumble along doing good on my path, even if I know it not, touching my fellow men with beauty and peace at every chance, and at the end of each day knowing I’ve messed up something or other, trusting in His loving mercy to get me on the narrow path again.

Joan, it’s a given in my mind that Taylor Marshall couldn’t be happier if people took these four steps, a pen and notebook, with them to their next Eucharistic Adoration hour to write down in their …second hour. : )
