Doctor Marshall, your video pictures and comments reminded me of the old days when I served High Mass in the late fifties and early sixties. I recalled when I would pore water over Father Francis’ hand in a bowl. There was two of us in my team and we use to take turn and truth be known, at the time, all that my ego was really concerned about was that I was the leader of my two altar boys team. :(

I don’t ever recall having been told the various reasons why a priest washed his hands but I guessed that number one was to show everybody that yes the priest did wash his hand. As to the other spiritual reasons that you explained which were interesting but there must have been subliminal angel messages that told me that Christ would explain “IT” all in due “Time”.

Long story short! If “Jesus” and His Holy Angels had High Expectations in US (usual sinners), all me, myself and I can say is that we’re lucky that Thomas Aguinas and His Saintly Followers also sent us all alien angel cells who know what they are talking about now and then. LOL :)
Keep UP the good words and works that our Lord Jesus started
    God Bless you and yours
