Why did Jesus enter Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sunday?

Prior to entering Jerusalem, Christ instructed his disciples to acquire for him a donkey (in Matthew’s Gospel and donkey and a colt).

Why is this?

The prophet Zechariah wrote: “Behold, your king comes to you, triumphant and victorious. He is humble and riding on an ass, on a colt the foal of an ass.” (Zech 9:9)

The messianic sign was at once perceived by the crowds who hailed Jesus as their king shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” (Mt 21:9) Catholics still shout this Davidic salutation every time the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated. It is an acknowledgment that Jesus is the true Davidic Messiah and king.

    Gospel according to Matthew:
If we refer to Genesis,we know that Satan with the help of Eve,symbolicaly the donkey, created sin symbolicaly the colt which was tied also to the donkey, with the help of both Eve and sin,Satan acquired Adam symbolicaly Jesus, and Adam died and lost life forever through commiting that sin.Now Jesus demonstrated that to respect that prophesy He, the second Adam is making use of all what Satan believed that since he acquired all those four fundamental elements which ar Adam, Eve, Sin, and Death,it wasn’t possible for God to become man and glorify, and it would be only possible for him to glorify and not Man God Jesus. As we all know now ,Jesus through Mary without sin symbolicaly the donkey caried and gave birth to Jesus with equivalent body of ours but without sin to crash Satan symbolcally the colt in the same time in order to through Jesus the second Adam who also died but not to loose, to win and destroyed Satan, sin and death forever and the most imortant to resuract and acquire back the life not only to himself only but to all humanity.
